Alexander Franks

is a Mixed Heritage Chinese/Spanish/British/Canadian Performer, Producer and Creator with an interest in the creation of new contemporary work that both entertains and brings life to stories lost to time and discrimination.

I started acting as a child in film/television and began to expand into theatre in high school. I fell in love with the live energy of the stage and pursued theatre degrees as both an undergrad getting a degree from Brock University in Drama with a concentration in Performance and an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice. During my education I expanded my creative knowledge into producing and writing.

Since returning back to Toronto I have been lucky to work as a performer/dramaturge/producer with various Toronto Theatre companies and continue my training as an actor for stage, screen and voice over.
