“I envision Prime Mover Theatre Company developing and championing excellent artists, promoting new works, and assembling production partners from flagship organizations across the country.
For the past decade I have been advising arts leaders and organizations from Nova Scotia to British Columbia regarding marginalized artists and their projects. Prime Mover grew as an extension of the work that I was being called upon to do as a connector, a mentor, and a producer. I have come to be regarded as a valuable resource for artistic directors looking to connect and collaborate with underrepresented theatre practitioners and their work.
Over time I have compiled a database of artists whose excellence I can personally vouch for. I am looking to expand that database and advocate for my artists more broadly.
